Here’s an album that has it all. A Project of Healing from Fred Jerkins, also known as Uncle Freddie, has already produced two hit singles. It is sure to spawn more. The song Victory featuring Last Call spent two weeks atop the Billboard Gospel Radio Air Play Chart and Hot Gospel 20 this summer. In 2017, the single We Won lead by Jonathan Nelson was popular – it is also on this album. I predict future radio hits for Trin-I-Tee 5:7 and Lowell Pye off this project. I am particulary blessed by Pye’s heartfelt delivery of Patiently Praising.

Not only is this an album with great music featuring popular artists Bishop Paul S, Morton, Y’anna Crawley, Alexis Spight, Darwin Hobbs and several others, it is for a great cause. A Project of Healing is the first  of a series of Gospel and mainstream compilation albums that will benefit cancer awareness, empowerment and education. Look for a stage play being written and directed by award winning Actress and Director Kim Fields which is inspired by this album.

As a cancer survivor and Gospel music lover, I highly recommend this album. Every song has deep meaning. Hear these and more God-honoring songs on our weekly countdown of the top Gospel Radio singles on
